It is not uncommon to hear that a few babies get switched at birth. However, upon discovering that Nagi and Erika were switched at birth, their parents come up with a plan to return each child to their rightful family without any drama or confusion. Their brilliant idea involves Nagi and Erika getting married.
Unlike Akane and Saito, who at least knew each other and attended the same school, Nagi and Erika had nothing connecting them to each other. They were complete strangers, but are now being forced to marry, just like Akane and Saito. I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class and A Couple Of Cuckoos will take viewers on a comedic and intriguing journey as the characters are forced to enter a relationship that gradually shifts into something deeper.

One truly does not know what they have until they lose it. For the longest time, Wataru has been trying to win Aika’s affection, confessing his love for her, but to no avail. One day, Wataru stopped and if he had realized that not showing affection to Aika would have made her fall for him, he would have stopped way sooner. Still, better late than never. This lack of attention from Waturu made Aika question her feelings, and she discovers that she has feelings for him after all.
The Dreaming Boy is a Realist and I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class explore the complexities of adolescent relationships, misunderstandings, and personal growth. They both blend lighthearted comedy with introspective moments, as their various protagonists take a deep dive into themselves to understand and discover their true feelings.

In Jioru’s school, students are required to pair up and live as pretend married couples to develop relationship skills. Jirou is partnered with Akari, but deep down, he wishes to have been paired with Shiori, his childhood friend and crush. Jirou and Akari are opposites of each other, and they have feelings for other people. To put them out of their misery and be with the people they like, they work together to earn points so they can switch partners.
Earning points comes at a price, and they have to actually put effort into their fake relationship. As they strive to do this, the line between fake and real becomes blurry as they start developing genuine feelings for each other. The forced living situations in both More Than A Married Couple, But Not Lovers and I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class kickstart the characters’ descent into developing feelings that weren’t there previously.

Hanabi and Mugi prove that what one sees is not always how it is. To others, they are the perfect couple but their relationship is based on a mutual understanding. They are both in love with someone else but want companionship, so they use each other as substitutes for the one they want but cannot have, Narumi and Akane respectively.
Scum’s Wish takes a more mature approach to discussing the complexities of a relationship, unlike I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class, which is more lighthearted and comedic. However, they both go deep while exploring the complexities of unconventional relationships, showcasing romance, character development, and self-discovery.
