A rather unusual tale of mafia romance, Yakuza Fiance: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii, is another of Fall 2024’s debutantes with a fairly good reception all around. The series follows the lives of the central characters, Yoshino Somei and Kirishima Miyama as the grandchildren of Osaka’s Somei Yakuza Group and Tokyo’s Miyama Yakuza Groups.
By calling a truce over the two group’s long history of animosity, the pair find their lives intertwined by an arranged marriage. Yoshino, now living with the Miyama family and her supposed fiance is sure that Kirishima is not as he seems. Kirishima, on the other hand, is truly a masochistic maniac who seeks pleasure through pain. However, instead of backing away, Yoshino is much more determined to toy with his heart.

The Witch and The Beast presents a rather serious-toned tale of revenge stemming from the central character, the feral Guideau, who carries around with her the curse of a witch. Obsessed with exacting revenge, Guideau joins the Order of Magic Resonance to help find her target, even if it means taking on missions.
She is joined by the laidback mage, Ashaf, and together the pair go in search of Guideau’s unknown witch while taking in fully the wonderful world of magic on their travels. However, nothing will stop Guideau from settling her scores.

However, an unexpected encounter with an unknown man gives Rafal a sort of life redirection prompting him to act illogically for the first time in his life by choosing to go after his passion for astronomy. But this new path brings Rafal to a head with the powerful Church due to the opposing beliefs of both parties. Rafal is determined to prove his theory that the Earth revolves around the Sun, a belief opposed by the Church, who believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth. Unfortunately for Rafal, to go against the Church would be to go against the highest will on the world.

Revolving around the protagonist, Mr. Fable, an infamous and legendary assassin within the invisible network of organized crime in Japan. Famous for being able to kill any man in under six seconds, Fable finds himself in a tricky situation when he is sent into hiding by his boss for fear of attracting too much attention from law enforcement, somewhere in Osaka.
Thinking of it as a well-deserved holiday, Fable is ready to enjoy his year-long holiday without any disturbances, as long as he acts as a civilian and does not kill anyone. However, the holiday is short-lived when the Osaka mafa, specifically, Takeshi Ebihara, decides that Fable is too much of a threat. So, between being monitored by the Yakuza and the everyday sticky situations the assassin regularly finds himself in, he must find a way to stay alive.

The most surprising performance for the year, at least by its expectations, Delicious In Dungeon presents a good mix of everything. From humour to mature themes and lighthearted moments. The series revolves around the protagonist, Knight Laois Touden, as he leads his party through what seems like an endless dungeon, that is full of monsters and traps. However, in this dungeon, an explorer can be resurrected even if they die, but only through advanced magic.
The journey turns on its head when Falin, Knight Laios’ mage sister gets eaten by a powerful dragon but not before she transports the rest of the party to the beginning of the dungeon. Desperate to save his sister, Laios is willing to fight his way through the dungeon. However, between their lack of coin and abandonment by some allies, starvation seems the likelier outcome for Laios and what remains of the party. But only until they come across the dwarven warrior, Senshi, who makes the trip less food-deficient, with his penchant for creating dishes out of the dungeon’s monsters.
