Avatar: The Last Airbender is already a classic, and it is also considered one of the predecessors of The Dragon Prince, both in tone, storytelling, and world-building style. The show was co-written by Aaron Ehasz, who is also the founder and responsible for The Dragon Prince, so there are bound to be some similarities.
If readers haven’t been able to enjoy Aang’s adventures, they should definitely give them a chance. If they already did, why not re-visit this wonderful series with spectacular storytelling and memorable characters?

This series has been highly criticized and has accumulated as many followers as detractors, but the truth is that they’re focusing on the wrong aspects of the show. Its animation is a mixture of Anime and American Toon, with a unique Art Style very similar to series like Star Vs. The Forces Of Evil and Steven Universe.
Readers might be reluctant to watch this series due to its highly inclusive content, but they should give it a chance. Its narrative is solid, its characters compelling, and the visuals are gorgeous. This spin-off of MOTU is action-packed, and with memorable characters; what else can fans ask for?

This lovely series is a fantastical adventure bordering surrealism, with an impactful message and absolutely beautiful designs. Sadly, it only has one season, but that is good enough to tell a compelling story such as this.
If readers enjoyed The Dragon Prince’s heartwarming construction of friendship, then they’ll surely enjoy the adventures of Wirt, Beatrice, Quincy, and all the band of merry (and fantastical) creatures they meet on their journey.

This series is a must-see for every lover of fantastical creatures, magic, adventure, and heartwarming friendship. With high doses of witty humor that generate more than one spark of joy throughout this adventure of a young witch’s apprentice named Luz.
The series has deep character developments that remind those of The Dragon Prince (Luz and Rayla are quite similar). This, added to a deep and engaging world-building makes the series a jewel among modern animated adventures.

Combining an art style similar to series like Gravity Falls and Bluey, this story is about a young girl named Hilda (hence the title) and her friends. It’s safe for all ages, which is a plus, and it tells a tale of exploration of a fantastical world, where new and memorable events will tie the characters closer than ever.
Its style diverts away from The Dragon Prince, but the construction of the narrative that surrounds the characters has a very similar message: the power of friendship changes the world.

Amphibia might be closer to style to shows like Rick And Morty and Regular Show than to The Dragon Prince, but the construction of its characters and how they evolve while fighting together for a common cause, as well as the dynamic flow of their friendship are really similar to Wonderstorm’s epic tale.

Set in a post-apocalyptic world, this fantastical tale of adventure, exploration, and friendship will melt fans’ hearts with its lovely approach to friendship and trust. It has a lot of the good features of The Dragon Prince since it was heavily inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender.
But it also has its own identity, with its unique art style, beautiful soundtrack, and captivating world-building. It is one hell of a ride for those who enjoy low-stakes adventure tales, and it has many surprises along the way.
