At first glance, the Limitless Cursed Technique just seems to give Gojo the greatest defense imaginable as it prevents anything from touching him. Offensively, Gojo can somehow fire off 3 different kinds of projectile attacks called Lapse Blue, Reversal Red, and Hollow Purple. However, when looked into more carefully, each of these techniques is even more powerful and interesting than previously believed.
Quite simply, Limitless allows the user to manipulate the very concept of infinity through different means, causing a distortion of space in one way or another that’s reflected in the many attacks the technique grants Gojo. This space manipulation can be used defensively, as can be seen with Gojo’s incredible forcefield that surrounds him at all times, protecting him from just about any external threat.
Infinity exists everywhere. My Jujutsu just brings it forward in reality.
This forcefield brings out the concept of infinite distance by gradually dividing the distance between Gojo and any external threat to him. To everyone else, it just seems that any offense used against him seems to stop a little away from his body, while in reality, the distance between Gojo and the thing seeking to harm him is continually being halved by a smaller and smaller amount, making it so that whatever is used to damage him can never actually reach him. This infinite distance is so small that it can’t be seen by the regular eye.
Moving on, there is the standard offensive attack of the Limitless Technique, called Lapse Blue. Simply referred to as ‘Blue’, this technique allows the manipulation of the force of attraction, essentially acting similarly to a black hole that sucks everything into an infinitely dense point. This attraction that Blue creates is seemingly unending, creating something akin to gravity that attracts everything around itself in a certain radius into a singular point.

After learning Cursed Technique Reversal, Gojo unlocked a secret of the Limitless Technique called Reversal Red. By taking the standard methodology of the Cursed Energy used to create Blue, Gojo could then reverse the way the Cursed Energy in his body worked to create an opposite force, which gives off an infinite repulsion from a single point. Though it’s formed similarly to Blue, it’s the exact opposite in terms of application, as it pushes everything out instead of attracting it inwards.
The secret technique of Limitless is one that very few members of the Gojo clan know about, called Hollow Purple. By taking both Lapse Blue and Reversal Red, the user merges the two opposing forces, creating a paradoxical mass that has infinite attraction and infinite repulsion simultaneously, which results in anything being caught within its radius of effect being completely disintegrated. This is Gojo’s strongest attack and one that allows him to immediately defeat anyone below the level of him and Sukuna.

Domain Expansions are the strongest moves a sorcerer has in their repertoire, and Gojo is no exception. His Domain, called Infinite Void, is probably the most powerful one in the entire series, as anyone who is exposed to it for even as little as 0.2 seconds can be rendered catatonic. Although this isn’t very long for powerful sorcerers or Cursed Spirits, regular humans were left completely immobile for months at a time.
This Domain Expansion is defined as the inner workings of Infinity, where the target is bombarded with an infinite amount of information at a moment’s notice once the Domain is opened. Due to the sheer volume of information going into the mind of the user in such a sudden burst of time, the target’s brain simply can’t deal with so much at once, rendering them completely still and subject to the whims of whatever Gojo wants to do with them at the time. When granted everything, they can do nothing.
