The first name is obviously that of Shinichiro Watanabe, the man behind many famed anime, such as Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, Samurai Champloo, and Terror in Resonance. As the director, Shinichiro Watanabe will be the one who makes most of the key decisions regarding the anime. He has proven his ingenuity multiple times, so fans can relax knowing that he will never release an incomplete project.
Chad Stahelski is another name that has made the headlines. Known for the John Wick movies, he is a modern-day legend. Chad Stahelski is a big fan of Shinichiro Watanabe’s works, so it’s understandable why he wouldn’t want to miss the chance to work with him. Chad Stahelski is in charge of designing the action scenes in Lazarus. Given his catalog, it’s obvious why he was given the role. Kamasi Washington, Bonobo, and Floating Points are composing the music for Lazarus.

What Is Lazarus Anime About?
Lazarus is set in a utopian society circa 2052 when a scientist named Dr. Skinner discovers a miracle drug. Naturally, people started to use it. Three years later, in 2055, Dr. Skinner revealed that the drug would kill everyone, as it had a lifespan of 3½ years. It results in the creation of a special task force to catch the scientist and save humanity.
Lazarus will be streaming on Adult Swim.
