Shigaraki’s endgame power will surpass everything previously seen in MHA.
Against all odds, All For One made his return in My Hero Academia chapter 419, and it was certainly a shocking chapter from beginning to end. It was also one that the fans thoroughly enjoyed, and it is sure to give them a lot of excitement moving forward in the Final War Saga. Despite everything, Deku is still looking to continue fighting, and all the people of the world have pinned their hopes on him.
All For One Remerges
All For One Has Taken Control Of Shigaraki’s Body
Right from the beginning of My Hero Academia chapter 419, it was clear for the fans to see that All For One had now returned. Towards the end of chapter 418, fans could see All For One starting to re-emerge inside of Shigaraki. This was not much of a surprise to the fans given that the premise for this was set long ago in the series. All For One existed inside of Shigaraki, however, the only reason he was being suppressed was because Shigaraki was absolutely resolute and his willpower was stronger than All For One’s very own.
Izuku Midoriya…Look what you’ve done to my One For All…and dear Yoichi…!!
However, Deku’s strategy to defeat Shigaraki backfired terribly. While it did aid Deku in trying to understand Shigaraki and it certainly did weaken the latter as well, the biggest downside of it was that All For One, who was suppressed inside of Shigaraki, now started to emerge. This was All For One’s perfect opportunity to take a head, and, at the same time, control the body of Shigaraki, as well as attempt to gain control over it properly.
Essentially, All For One succeeded in his plan, however, not in the way that he had originally intended. Regardless, what he cared about was what he got and that is exactly what surprised the fans in My Hero Academia chapter 419. From here onwards, things are going to be much more difficult for the Heroes to deal with, as not only has All For One received his ideal body, but he is now potentially at the peak of his abilities.
Shigaraki’s True Past Revealed
Shigaraki Suffered At The Hands Of All For One
Close
My Hero Academia chapter 419 might have seen the resurrection of All For One, however, that certainly was not the best part of the chapter. The most exciting part of the chapter came right inside Shigaraki’s memories, where All For One re-emerged. When this despicable figure emerged in front of him, he started to chastise Shigaraki for his wavering spirit, however, at the same time, this was a blessing for him, given that it was because of this wavering spirit that he was able to manifest himself and take control of his body once again. Then, he revealed to Shigaraki that none of his decisions had ever been his own. Ever since he was a child, he was being manipulated and set up for disaster. Shigaraki was revealed to not have the destructive Quirk that he is known to have at the beginning of the series.
In fact, All For One even revealed that he was the one who manipulated his parents in a very significant manner, which allowed him to get close to the little kid, as well as set the gears for his disastrous fall right from the get-go. He revealed that upon birth, he had his Quirk stolen by All For One, and instead, he was given the Decay quirk. It was also revealed in My Hero Academia chapter 419 that the Decay Quirk had the ability to heal as well. Essentially, this Quirk was a decay and heal power, however, All For One stripped the construction aspect of this power completely from it, and left it with just the destructive powers.

My Hero Academia: Will Deku Be Quirkless Again?
Deku is losing all his quirks against Shigaraki in MHA.
This Quirk was then given to Shigaraki, and, with that, All For One simply waited for this power to manifest itself and trigger the destruction of the entire Shimura household. If that wasn’t enough, he then came and took Shigaraki in, setting him up for failure right from the very beginning. This information was truly devastating for Shigaraki, and he seemed to implode after hearing all this. It was at this point that he realized that his life was truly not his own and that he simply existed as a tool for All For One. Deku also heard this, and even though he wanted to help Shigaraki, at that point, he was helpless.
Deku Loses His Limbs
Deku Is In A Very Precarious Situation
My Hero Academia chapter 419 continued to shock the fans, as, towards the end, All For One came to life and he started pressing forward once again. Of course, Deku, who was in front of him, would try his best to stop him. Fans know Deku to have a resolute nature and willpower that absolutely cannot be defeated. For that reason alone, Deku tried to get up and fight him, however, it was at this point that he realized that he had no arms left. Thanks to the power of Decay, his arms were completely destroyed and regardless of what he tried at this point, he was simply fighting a losing battle.
Had the situation continued as it was, Deku would most likely have met his end within the next few pages, and from there onwards, All For One would have declared his victory in the Final War. However, that is not what happened and, thankfully for the fans, hope came in the form of a support team and the battle against All For One continues still.
Aizawa Reappears
Aizawa Emerges From Warpgate in MHA 419
Towards the end of My Hero Academia chapter 419, fans saw help come in the form of a Hero team. The very first person to show himself was Sero, and he wrapped All For One in his tape. Then, fans could also see other characters, such as Ojiro and Sato, join the battle. Towards the end, fans could see a giant warpgate, and out of it emerged none other than Aizawa, with his limbs intact. It appears that the drama with Shirakumo was finally settled.
Sorry to keep you waiting. – Aizawa
More importantly, Aizawa started using the powers of Erasure on All For One. This is a massive boost in the battle against the final villain, and now, all they need to do is to heal Deku back to his best, and hope that this battle goes their way. Of course, with the arrival of Aizawa, there is a chance that Eri will join the battle as well and if she does, then fans are in for a phenomenal conclusion to the Final War Saga.
