Much to the surprise of the fans, All For One has now returned, and from here onwards, this battle is going to be extremely difficult for Deku to win, especially after the damage that he suffered in the previous chapter. Things are looking very bleak for the Heroes at this point, and My Hero Academia chapter 420 will be looking to remedy that.
Team Aizawa Attacks All For One
Aizawa Brings Help For Deku in MHA 420
My Hero Academia chapter 420 is most definitely going to see the involvement of Aizawa in the battle against All For One. In the previous chapter, All For One finally manifested inside of Shigaraki once again, and that was down to Deku creating an imbalance in his mental fortitude. As he finally started to break down, All For One could climb out once again, and take control of his body. By doing that, All For One resurrected, and this time around, he’s suppressed Shigaraki completely. All For One ended up revealing to Shigaraki what exactly he did to him when he was a child, and how he was responsible for every single misery that he went through.
Izuku Midoriya…Look what you’ve done to my One For All…and dear Yoichi…!!
At the same time, fans also saw that Deku and Shigaraki both suffered tremendously after All For One return. In the case of Deku, he lost both his arms, and currently, it is going to be incredibly difficult for him to continue to fight. My Hero Academia chapter 419 saw Sero, Ojiro, and Sato return to battle towards the end, and that is exactly what the upcoming chapter is going to be focusing on.
The key player in My Hero Academia chapter 420 is most likely going to be Aizawa. Fans know that his Quirk can erase the quirk of others, and here, it is going to be crucial in weakening All For One. He has previously played this role against Shigaraki on multiple occasions, and he is going to be doing that once again in the upcoming chapter. By weakening All For One, it is going to be then up to Sero and others to hold All For One down. Of course, none of them have the firepower required to defeat All From One, and that is where a very exciting character comes in, which is going to be none other than Eri.
Eri Emerges To Help Deku
Eri Will Heal Deku So He Can Fight
My Hero Academia chapter 420 will most definitely focus on Eri as well. Even though she was not in the previous chapter, it only makes sense for Eri to appear here in the middle of the battlefield and help Deku. She was focused on previously by the author and was seen desperate to help Deku. Unfortunately for her, at that point in time, there was no way for her to get to Shigaraki and Deku, and aid the latter in battle. Back then, it felt almost like a waste of panels, since there was absolutely no way that Eri could have joined the battlefield. However, now, this setup starts to make sense and Horikoshi certainly deserves credit for that.

With the warp gate, likely open by Shirakumo, Eri will most likely join the battle, and her role is going to be paramount. Fans know that Eri’s power is extremely essential here, and she can rewind others to a previous state and potentially even erase them. It appears that she has used his power successfully and Aizawa, as he appears to be just fine emerging out of the portal. Now, it is her time to heal Deku, and potentially take his Quirk to a former state as well. By healing Deku, Eri is going to be playing a massive role in the final victory against All For One, and from there onwards, it is going to be up to Deku to save not just Shigaraki, but the entire world. My Hero Academia chapter 420 will be making great strides in that direction, and that is something that the fans are eagerly waiting for at this point in the story.
Sorry to keep you waiting. – Aizawa
Clearly, this fight is likely going to be ending in the next few chapters of the series, and this all but confirms that My Hero Academia is going to wrap up within the next 10 to 15 or so chapters, at best.

Deku Begins The Final Fight In My Hero Academia
Close
My Hero Academia chapter 420 could very well see the final battle in the series commence. Up until now, Shigaraki vs Deku was heating up, but All For One was nowhere to be seen. Most fans assumed that All For One was dealt with, thanks to Bakugo. However, now, he has re-emerged, and a different twist has been added to this final fight. This is incredibly exciting for the fans, and it simply means that All For One is going to be receiving a lot of focus from here onwards, and that he is going to be the final villain of the entire series who will most likely be defeated by Deku. This is, in some ways, great, as fans know that Shigaraki is heading for a redemption, and his greatest enemy and the reason for his ruin to be the final villain is the perfect twist by the author here.
My Hero Academia chapter 420 can go in two directions. Either the entire chapter can focus on saving Deku, or, the chapter can see Deku being saved in the early phases, which will then see Deku join the final battle and this devastating clash finally beginning. Of course, it depends on what the author wants to focus on. Given that Eri is yet to join the battle, chances are that the upcoming chapter of My Hero Academia will focus in its entirety on characters such as her, Shirakumo, Sero, and others. These characters will play a very important role in the next chapter, and they all will set the stage for the battle to recover, which will then kick start the final phase towards the very end of the chapter. That is what fans need to be focused on at this point in time, and most likely, that is what Horikoshi is planning for fans in MHA 420 as well.
The series is surely going to be even more exciting headed into the next chapter and quite clearly, this is a battle that needs to be ended by collaborative effort. It should not surprise the fans if Shigaraki joins the battle against All For One as well from the inside. It is his body that All For One has taken control of, and even though he has lost his willpower, with a nudge from Deku, he can possibly start fighting back and regain control over his body, eliminating All For One once and for all, this time for good.
My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 420, is set to be April 14, 2024.
