Concluding your story in an effective manner is a difficulty that many authors have faced. However, right now, Horikoshi has been doing incredibly well. My Hero Academia chapter 420 was yet another proof of the fact that he still holds his magical touch and that every character will have their story wrapped up in the most effective and heart-touching manner.
Kurogiri Listens To The Plea Of His Friends
Help Arrives From Kurogiri To Open The Portals
My Hero Academia chapter 420 gave fans a proper look at Kurogiri, Aizawa, and Present Mic. This is something that a lot of the fans expected. In fact, we spoke about it earlier in the analysis for last week’s chapter, given that the portals to the battlefield popped out of nowhere. Horikoshi could not simply have let this go unexplained, and the proper reasoning for it in this week’s chapter was just around the corner, regardless of what came after. That is exactly what happened in My Hero Academia chapter 420, as Horikoshi decided to focus on how Kurogiri decided to collaborate with the heroes in the first place. Given that Kurogiri himself is a nomu, it is quite clear to the fans that he does not possess the heart of a human.
I know you know this, Yamada. We’re educators in the hero course. It’s our job to make sure U.A students reach graduation.
However, in many instances, he has shown signs of humanity in him. This happened in Tartarus once, and in this chapter, it was seen once again. When Yamada asked him to leave Shirakumo’s body alone, Kurogiri started crying. Even though he died, there is something that links him to Shirakumo, and that is exactly what came into play here as well. My Hero Academia chapter 420 focused on this aspect of the chapter in a very touching manner. Aizawa was the one who, in the end, helped Kurogiri see things for himself, and he decided to open the portals and help the Heroes head back to the battlefield. In essence, Shirakumo is doing his part in ending this final battle, and that certainly is brilliant to see, especially when one considers the amazing story of these three friends who have endured quite a lot together.
The Heroes Unite
Help Arrives For Deku Against All For One
The second act of My Hero Academia chapter 420 was more upbeat and motivational. With Kurogiri opening the portals, it was possible for every Hero to head back to the battlefield now. This looked incredibly positive for all the Heroes, given that, now, they could make a difference once again in the fight against the greatest villain, All For One. Right now, Deku certainly was in need of help, and it came in the form of every Hero who could still stand and fight. Many who couldn’t even fight any longer but had some legs left, decided to join the battle too, and that was certainly beautiful for the fans to see. Everyone decided to go help Deku, and even those who couldn’t go fight decided to play their part, giving bandages, clothes, and just about everything else to aid the recovery of Heroes or boost their chances of victory in battle.
The Heroes have won over the people once again, and most importantly, everyone is praying for Deku to win the battle. He is the shining star and the hope of the war right now, and everything rests on his shoulders. However, My Hero Academia chapter 420 highlighted very well that Deku cannot do everything alone. He is incredibly strong, and it might even be fair to say that he is the strongest in the world. However, Deku is still human and he still needs help. That is essentially the message that Horikoshi sent to the fans in My Hero Academia chapter 420, and that was very beautiful indeed.

Close
Of course, My Hero Academia chapter 420 would eventually have to tackle the problem that Deku is facing right now as well. It was seen in the previous chapter that Deku had lost both of his arms, and in that condition, he could certainly not continue fighting. Things were essentially over for Deku not just in the battle, but also in the grand scheme of things. His dream of becoming a Hero would most likely have died because he would have lost two of his most important limbs. Thankfully, this was not a massive shocker for the fans or something that had them worried. The moment Deku lost his arms, fans knew that Eri would be the answer to this problem, and My Hero Academia chapter 420 elaborated upon that greatly, proving the fans right in the process.
Eri played a massive role in this week’s chapter, and showed a bigger heart than possibly anyone right now. Eri cut her horn off and gave it to Aizawa in the chapter when they met. She wanted to join the battle with him. However, Eri knew that Aizawa would not let that happen, and, as a result, in her mind, the best decision was to do whatever little it was that she could do and hope that Deku wins the battle. Eri has shown tremendous growth over the years in My Hero Academia, and right now, if the Heroes do end up winning, it will be all down to her. She has made a massive sacrifice by cutting her horn off, and even Aizawa mentioned in the chapter that by doing so, she could essentially have ruined her Quirk forever. Right now, however, she does not care at all, and all that she wants is to be able to sing one day, which is her dream, and for everyone to have fun together, because they deserve it, and so does she.
You can’t die…until you’ve heard her sing.
By cutting her horn off, she sent a portion of herself with Aizawa, and as soon as he emerged from the portal, he asked Deku how long it had been since he lost his arms. Of course, my fans are aware of the fact that it has been just a few minutes since that happened, and that things are still salvageable at this point in time.
Within a few moments, Aizawa stabbed Deku with Eri’s horn, which forced him to rewind, and get back to strength. Meanwhile, all the Heroes emerged from the many portals on the battlefield, all ready to take on All For One in this final fight in My Hero Academia which the fans are incredibly excited about. From here onwards, things are only going to get better, and fans simply need to sit back and watch.
My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 421, is set to be April 28, 2024.
