Shigaraki’s endgame power will surpass everything previously seen in MHA.
There are lots of developments that are yet to be tackled in this final fight, and of course, with the arrival of Heroes and the revival of All For One, things are looking much more intense than before. An exciting battle, and of course, a flurry of emotions is most likely on the way for the fans in the upcoming My Hero Academia chapter 420.
All For One Vs The Heroes
All For One Makes A Return In Shigaraki’s Body
My Hero Academia chapter 420 will likely begin with a battle between All For One and the Heroes. This is a given, since Deku is in no condition to fight at the moment, and the only ones who can are the heroes. Thankfully for Deku, Aizawa, along with the other Heroes, emerged from Warpgate in the previous chapter, and now, they will be looking to hold down All For One, while Deku is being treated. My Hero Academia chapter 420 is going to pick up from the previous chapter, as the heroes look set to deliver their very best against the most heinous criminal in the entire series. Much of the weight is going to be on the shoulders of the likes of Sero, Sato, and Ojiro, and these three are going to have to deliver greatly if All For One is to be stopped.
Tenko’s spiritual defeat here in his subconscious realm has allowed my own consciousness to claw back control!
Of course, Aizawa is the head here, however, his main job is to make sure that All For One cannot use his full power using Erasure. The others are most likely going to take this opportunity to weaken him in combat greatly. Of course, this is not going to be easy for the heroes, however, it is something that they absolutely must do if they want to defeat the greatest villain in the entire series.
This battle was set up to be deadly for the Heroes, and it certainly will be that. In fact, fans should not be surprised if there are some casualties in the upcoming chapter of My Hero Academia. It shouldn’t be forgotten that when All For One was fighting in his own body, he took down multiple Heroes within a few chapters. Even Hawks fell victim to him, and had his Quirk stolen. The same logic should apply here. Even though All For One is not in his body, it should not be forgotten that he is just as dangerous, potentially even more dangerous. If Aizawa has a moment of slip-up, then the heroes will find themselves in a very dangerous situation and could capitulate, which could lead to losses, especially in the likes of the young Hero aspirants of Class 1A.
Eri To Heal Deku?
Eri Has To Help Deku Out One Last Time
While MHA chapter 420 will certainly give the heroes who recently joined the battle their moments, much of the focus is going to be on Eri, who, as fans know, is most certainly going to be involved here. There was a basis for Eri to join the battle before, and fans know that she desperately wanted to aid Deku however she could. Now is her chance to join the battle and do just that. Even though she was way too far away previously, this chapter has given her a golden opportunity, thanks to Warpgate.

Deku is losing all his quirks against Shigaraki in MHA.
Speaking of Warpgate, fans should keep in mind that the entire dilemma between Shirakumo and Aizawa has not been explained in the series yet. The last time fans saw him, both Aizawa and Present Mic were seen going inside Warpgate with him. It is unknown what happened inside, and fans might actually end up seeing a flashback in My Hero Academia chapter 420, which would explain how Shirakumo was brought back, and of course, how they all got to cooperate and entered the battle against All For One. This is a very important aspect of the battle that many overlook, and it should be kept in mind that this is something that a writer of Horikoshi’s caliber is sure to focus on as the series continues.
Coming back to Eri, My Hero Academia chapter 420 will certainly give her a big moment. If Eri does emerge out of Warpgate in the upcoming chapter, then, fans can rest assured that she will immediately get to work and start healing Deku. Of course, Eri’s quirk is an ability that should not be used for such purposes. However, there is a difference between treating her as a tool, and Eri herself wanting to heal others, and this falls in the latter category. Eri wants to pay back Deku for everything that he has done for her, and in his darkest hour of need, she wants to be there for him. Using the power of Rewind, Eri will certainly heal Deku and, from there onwards, he can rejoin the battle against All For One.
Deku Returns To Battle
Deku Could Fight All For One Again
Close
My Hero Academia chapter 420 could be absolutely massive for Deku. However, it could also be a very uneventful chapter for him. It all depends on how the author wants the story to go and what the pacing of the upcoming chapter is going to be. However, if the author is intent on wrapping up his story as quickly as possible, then the upcoming chapter of the story could potentially see the return of Deku. This will require Erie to quickly emerge from Warpgate and start healing him. If that ends up being the case, then, My Hero Academia chapter 420 will see a resurgent Deku towards the end, and he will then rejoin the battle against All For One, along with others.
Loss engenders strength. That’s a narrative trope I intend to establish. – All For One
From there onwards, Deku will have a bigger responsibility on his shoulders. This time around, it won’t be just that he has to defeat Shigaraki. Instead, Deku will have to save Shigaraki from All For One, and end the cycle of evil forever. This is a massive responsibility for him, and one that he should be willing to take. Of course, given that he possesses quite tremendous grit and he’s determined, Deku will be trying his best to do that, provided he returns in My Hero Academia chapter 420.
Of course, it is also entirely possible that My Hero Academia chapter 420 will not see Deku return at all. In this scenario, Deku will most likely be healed towards the end of the chapter, and fans will see MHA chapter 420 conclude before he rejoins the fight. Of course, it doesn’t change much in the grand scheme of things, as Deku will surely rejoin the fight immediately after, in the upcoming chapter of the series. Regardless of what ends up happening, fans can rest assured that Deku will eventually play a massive role in the final phase, after Eri heals him, and conclude the fight once and for all, saving Shigaraki, as well as the entire world in the process.
My Hero Academia is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus app. The release date for the next chapter of My Hero Academia, My Hero Academia chapter 420, is set to be April 14, 2024.
