Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates and one of the most important characters in One Piece. Joining up with the crew after the events of the Water Seven saga, Franky has sailed on as the eighth member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
In the New World, Franky is currently one of the strongest members of the crew, recently being able to defeat Sasaki, one of the Tobi Roppo of Kaido’s Beast Pirates, rather easily. That said, Franky would be even stronger if he possessed a Devil Fruit power and there are only a handful that suit him perfectly in One Piece.
5 Jiki Jiki no Mi
The Jiki Jiki no Mi is a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit that currently belongs to Kid. This fruit allows the user to control the powers of magnetism and it would certainly be a fitting power for Franky. With this ability, Frankie would be able to attract all metal around him and create giant mecha constructs within a matter of seconds.
Franky would also gain the powers to use electromagnetic beams and even powerful rail guns, which he would absolutely enjoy. Awakening would give Franky the ability to assign magnetic properties to anything and control them at will and this fruit would certainly be very fun to witness under him. Since Frankie’s knowledge, when it comes to engineering and science, is far greater than Kid, he would actually be a much better user of this Devil Fruit than Eustass Kid could ever be.
4 Pika Pika no Mi
The Pika Pika no Mi is a Logia type of Devil Fruit and it is currently being wielded by Kizaru. This Devil Fruit is incredible and it allows the user to transform into light itself, and even produce it from their body, as well as manipulate the produced light as well. On top of everything, the user gains an intangible body that can only be hurt with either natural counters or Haki.
Franky already has a laser beam inside his own body, thanks to his studying Vegapunk’s old inventions on Karakuri Island. Having the entire Devil Fruit itself would certainly be very appealing to Franky and would give him immense powers of light. Franky would be able to shoot laser beams from everywhere and that is suddenly something that a character such as him would enjoy.
3 Nomi Nomi no Mi
The Nomi Nomi no Mi is a very useful Paramecia ability that currently belongs to Dr. Vegapunk. This Devil Fruit gives Vegapunk an infinite capacity to store all knowledge. This means that whatever Vegapunk reads or studies is permanently stored in his brain, which is ever-growing. Currently, his brain is so big that it actually floats over Egghead Island.
Franky is very similar to Dr. Vegapunk in many ways and he actually idolizes him. He has always tried to be more like Vegapunk and gaining this Devil Fruit which would aid his scientific progress far more than anything else, would certainly be fitting for him. Franky would become much smarter and his inventions would become much better as well. He would also retain all information and become a walking library.
2 Buki Buki no Mi
The Buki Buki no Mi is a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit and one that is perfectly suited to Franky. Currently, it is being used by Baby 5, a member of the Happo Sui. The Buki Buki no Mi allows the user to transform their entire body into any weapon that they desire.
Franky is absolutely obsessed with weapons and having this Devil Fruit would certainly aid him greatly in combat. Franky would be able to transform into an incredibly powerful and dangerous weapon. In fact, knowing his scientific knowledge, Franky would also be able to produce something as powerful as nuclear weapons and become one of the strongest, if not the strongest pirate, in the world of One Piece.
1 Nikyu Nikyu no Mi
The Nikyu Nikyu no Mi is a paramecia type of Devil Fruit that currently belongs to Bartholomew Kuma. Once again, this is also a Devil Fruit that would be absolutely perfect for Franky. There are many similarities between Frankie and Kuma. For starters, both of these characters are cyborgs and possess incredibly durable bodies.
The Pacifistas that were modeled after Kuma can shoot laser beams from their palms and so can Franky. They possess immense toughness, and just like Kuma possesses the ability to use Ursus Shock, Franky has his own Coup de Vent.
Franky would absolutely love to be more like Kuma and gain the powers of the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. With its powers, he would gain the ability to reflect anything at incredibly fast speeds, going up to the speed of light, through his paws. At the same time, Franky would also gain the power to reflect intangible things, such as pain, emotions, and memories, from a particular person’s body. Although he’s already very useful, Franky would become even more important to the crew and, essentially, a cheat code.
