Nika Luffy is a powerful pirate. However, even with this level of strength, he might still be rivaled by these characters.
Nika, also known as the Warrior of Liberation, is a godly entity in the One Piece world. Currently, the person who holds the title of Sun God Nika is none other than Luffy, as he ate the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. This Devil Fruit has given him the ability to transform into Nika, just as he did in the fight against Kaido.

Nika is incredibly powerful and, as the Warrior of Liberation, he can fight as he likes with incredible freedom. Nika also brings Joy and laughter to the faces of people. However, most importantly, Nika has a role to fulfill, and is fated to find the One Piece as well as free the world from the terror of the World Government. On his journey, however, Nika has amassed several rivals.
7 Eustass Kid
Eustass Kid is a powerful pirate with a bounty of 3 billion berries on his head. As a member of the Worst Generation, Kid is a rival to Luffy and he also aims for the One Piece. Kid isn’t the man that Roger is waiting for, however, that doesn’t stop him from trying to get his hands on the grand treasure of the One Piece.
He has already proven his worth against the likes of the Emperors when he fought against Yonko Kaido and Big Mom. While he was destroyed by Shanks in their fight, he will, in the future, play another major role in the story, even if it is from the sidelines.
6 Trafalgar Law
Trafalgar Law is also a member of the Worst Generation and a feared pirate from the North Blue. Law is a pirate worth 3 billion berries and among the strongest in the entire world right now. While he isn’t technically a rival to Luffy, he does intend to find the One Piece and find out the true meaning of the D and those with a checkered fate.
In that sense, Law is certainly in a race with Luffy and wants to get to the One Piece before anyone else. This makes Law a rival to Nika. For now, however, Law has fallen behind in the race after losing to Blackbeard.

Buggy might just be one of the biggest rivals that Luffy has right now. He is among the newly elected Yonko, after the fall of Big Mom and Kaido. Buggy has a bounty of 3.189 billion berries, which is staggering and even higher than that of Luffy.
He is also at the helm of the Cross Guild, and that certainly means that Buggy is feared and respected all over the world. Furthermore, Buggy intends to get to the One Piece before Luffy or anyone else and fulfill the destiny by himself. This, by definition, makes Buggy a rival to Nika Luffy.
4 Kaido
Kaido was one of those Four Emperors of the Sea before the events of the Wano arc and at the same time, he was also the strongest pirate alive. Kaido possessed tremendous strength and an overwhelming aura. Few could hold their own against him and it was his overwhelming presence that crushed the vast majority of the pirates that he was competing against.
Kaido was waiting in anticipation for years for the arrival of Nika to test himself against him. At the end of it all, he ended up losing to him. His current whereabouts remain unknown, however, at one point, he was one of Nika’s biggest rivals.
3 Big Mom
Big Mom is one of the former Four Emperors of the Sea, just like Kaido. She’s an incredibly powerful pirate and until recently, was feared as one of the mightiest on the ocean. Big Mom has a bounty of 4.388 billion berries on her head and her might was certainly to show for it.
Until recently, Big Mom was in a rivalry with Luffy, however, she ended up losing to Kid and Law. Her current whereabouts remain unknown, however, if she is alive, then she will most certainly return and challenge Luffy once again. Big Mom might not be his biggest rival, but he is the one who caused her grip over the world to unravel.
2 Shanks
Shanks is a world-renowned pirate and also one of the Four Emperors of the Sea. Incredibly powerful and, among the current Yonko, he has the highest bounty at 4.0489 billion berries.
Shanks is so powerful that even Kid couldn’t stand up to him in any shape or form. Furthermore, he is now directly aiming for the One Piece and intends to seize it for himself. This makes him a rival to Nika and it could be interesting to see how he fits the narrative going forward.
1 Blackbeard
Blackbeard might be the biggest rival that Nika has currently. While Nika is the Sun God, Blackbeard is darkness itself. He has the power of both the Yami Yami no Mi and, at the same time, Gura Gura no Mi as well.
His two overpowered abilities make him a force to be reckoned with. Blackbeard surely wants to take the One Piece for himself and in the Great Pirate Era, he is mostly going to be the biggest threat that Nika faces, other than Imu and the Five Elders.
