His lineage is special and he is also related directly to Shimotsuki Ushimaru, as well as Shimotsuki Ryuma, who was the Sword God of the Wano Country.
He is a pirate from across the sea, and yet he is the spitting image of Shimotsuki Ushimaru, the Daimyo of Ringo!
Zoro’s lineage has already been special from day one and this is something that the novel will likely elaborate upon. Fans might find out more bits from here and there about Zoro and his lineage, and how that translates to his incredible strength as a pirate in the One Piece world.
