One Piece is one of the most loved anime to date and has bragging rights to being one of the longest-running shows in the business. Pirates scour the ocean searching for treasure, although these adventurers run the risk of being hunted down by the government and the Marines they command. In many cases, the World Government soldiers can handle any number of pirate crews on the ocean. However, there are a few exceptions.

Outstanding pirates whose reputations have spread across the world have bounties placed for these criminals’ imminent capture or death. Bounties are ranked according to power and notoriety, which is why the highest-ranked characters are considered the most ruthless and dangerous pirates in the world. Who has the highest bounty in One Piece?
Updated on July 15, 2023, by Rei Penber: The world of One Piece is currently in its most turbulent era and, as such, pirates and other criminals of all sorts have taken the seas by storm. This only means that bounties are higher than ever before and, as a result, fans get exciting reveals about these figures every now and then. In the Wano Country arc, which recently wrapped up, fans got quite a lot of new bounties for their favorite characters. While this list already goes over the highest bounties in One Piece, there are quite a few that deserve to be added to the list. With that in mind, this list has now been updated.
30 Usopp – 500,000,000 Berries
After the events of Wano, Usopp received a 300 million beri increase, which shot his current bounty up to 500 million. While Usopp certainly isn’t a pirate worthy of a 5 million beri bounty based on his strength alone, his pedigree is immense in the world already and that, on its own, is enough to see him get a bounty this high.
In the future, Usopp will likely see his bounty skyrocket even more. However, for now, 500 million berries is quite impressive for him.
29 Izo – 510,000,000 Berries
Izo is a powerful pirate who was once a member of the Whitebeard crew and, at the same time, he also returned to Wano to fight against the Beast Pirates. Izo held off the CP0 after already being injured in the fight against Kaido and did incredibly well.
As a member of the Whitebeard Pirates, he had made quite a name for himself and his bounty of 510 million berries speaks for itself. Sadly, Izo ended up dying in the war in Wano.
28 Chinjao – 542,000,000 Berries
Don Chinjao is a legendary pirate from the past who used to lead the Happo Navy. In his prime days, he had a bounty of 542 million berries on his head. Sadly, Garp destroyed his drill, which meant that he could not carry on his activities as a pirate any longer.
Chinjao was quite powerful and a pirate feared all across the world. His bounty of over 500 million berries goes to show his status as a veteran pirate.
27 Who’s Who – 546,000,000 Berries
A member of the Beast Pirates, Who’s Who was one of the Tobiroppo until recently. Given that this group is a meritocracy, Who’s Who was most likely the strongest of the lot. His actions had earned him a bounty of 546 million berries, which is quite a staggering figure.
He fought against Jinbe in Wano and, even though he was easily defeated, he did not go down without dealing some damage to the Fish Man as well. Who’s Who is certainly an incredibly powerful pirate, however, his current whereabouts remain unknown.
26 Little Oars Jr./Ace – 550,000,000 Berries
Little Oars Junior made his debut in the Marineford arc where he was presumed to have died. His current status remains unknown, however, it is likely that he’s alive somewhere in the world. Little Oars Junior had a bounty of 550 million berries, which is incredibly high.
He also shared this figure with Ace, the Second Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates who ended up dying in the Paramount War. Both of them shared this bounty and were certainly among the most ferocious people in the One Piece world.
25 Charlotte Snack – 600,000,000 Berries
One of the former Four Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates, Snack is a quite powerful fighter with a bounty of 600 million berries on his head. Snack was quite strong, capable of fighting against Urouge and holding his own, although, ultimately, being defeated.
Snack also managed to fight against Judge in the Whole Cake Island arc and did fairly well. While he isn’t the strongest of the members of the Big Mom Pirates, he’s certainly impressive in his own way. It is highly unlikely for him to be relevant in One Piece again, given that he wasn’t even relevant in the Whole Cake Island arc, in the first place. Nonetheless, he does have a high bounty.
24 Sabo – 602,000,000 Berries
Sabo is the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army and the man known all over the world as the Flame Emperor. The last fans knew of Sabo, his bounty was 602 million berries. Since then, he has infiltrated the Reverie and has seen the true powers of both Imu and the Gorosei.
At the same time, he has been framed as the killer of King Cobra of the land of Arabasta. Sabo’s bounty is sure to have skyrocketed over 602 million berries, however, this figure has not been made official yet. For now, what fans do know for a fact is that it is at least 602 million berries. It wouldn’t be a surprise if his bounty is far over a billion berries or even in the territory of 2 to 3 billion.
23 Charlotte Perospero: 700,000,000 Berries
An army does not consist of just one person, a fact Big Mom seems to understand. The Big Mom Pirates have a wide range of powerful members, all of which work to appease the group’s titular leader. Although he hardly has the highest bounty in the crew, Charlotte Perospero is nevertheless extremely dangerous, with his Pero Pero no Mi Devil Fruit providing him the ability to create and control candy.
Perospero has a boisterous and vindictive nature, although the pirate is by no means completely deplorable. Perospero does seem to genuinely care about the people living within Big Mom’s nation.
22 Charlotte Cracker: 860,000,000 Berries
Sticking with the Big Mom Pirates, Charlotte Cracker was chosen by his captain to face Luffy in the Seducing Woods. One of the crew’s Three Sweet Commanders, Cracker’s Devil Fruit centers around biscuits, and this ability is far more threatening than it sounds.
Cracker can create biscuit soldiers to overwhelm his enemy, allowing him to defeat most pirates who do not have rubber stomachs and the will to eat everything. While he eventually fell to Luffy, Cracker is anything but a pushover.
21 Nico Robin: 930,000,000 Berries
Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates. Also known as the Light of the Revolution, Robin is the only person capable of deciphering the Poneglyphs. As such, she is quite possibly the biggest threat to the World Government in One Piece.
Robin is also an incredibly competent fighter. In Wano, she fought against Black Maria of the Beast Pirates and managed to defeat her. All her actions in the arc and her an incredibly high bounty of 930 million berries.
20 Charlotte Smoothie: 932,000,000 Berries
If the Whole Cake Island arc proves anything, it is that a Devil Fruit is only as useful as its owner is willing to make it. Charlotte Smoothie is another pirate who has an unusual ability, as the Shibo Shibo no Mi allows her to extract liquid from pretty much anything, be it inanimate objects, animals, or humans. Smoothie can then either drink this liquid or absorb it, the latter allowing her to grow to extraordinary sizes.
Smoothie’s cruel nature makes her especially dangerous since she will not hesitate to use somebody, even a lower-ranked member of the Big Mom Pirates, as a source for refreshments.
19 Jack The Drought: 1,000,000,000 Berries
A member of the Beasts Pirates and one of the Three Disasters, Jack the Drought is an immense presence. He commands fear and respect from pirates across the world. He is also one of the known Devil Fruit users, as Jack ingested the Zoan Zou Zou no Mi, Model: Mammoth Devil Fruit to attain the transformative powers of a giant mammoth that rampages across the battlefield.
While his regular size is equally large and frightening, Jack the Drought lacks the typical flashy or complicated powers that many other Devil Fruit users possess in the series. Instead, he opts for raw strength and power to terrify enemies.
18 Sanji: 1,032,000,000 Berries
Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates and an incredibly competent fighter as well. After the events of the Whole Cake Island arc, Sanji received a bounty of 330 million berries. He then went on to take the central stage in the Raid of Onigashima on the performance floor. He defeated Queen the Plague of the Beast Pirates and this on them a bounty of 1.032 billion berries.
17 Charlotte Katakuri: 1,057,000,000 Berries
With the ability to turn his body into mochi, Charlotte Katakuri is the strongest member of the Big Mom Pirates besides his mother. Additionally, Katakuri can control all three forms of Haki. This makes him an even more imposing opponent against Marines and other pirate crews going up against the Charlotte family.
The Minister of Flour, many fans consider Katakuri one of the strongest opponents to directly face the Straw Hat Pirates thus far. Even Luffy had difficulty struggling against him.
16 Jinbe: 1,100,000,000 Berries
Jinbe joined the Straw Hat Pirates shortly before the Raid of Onigashima began. Having already made a great reputation for himself in the One Piece world, Jinbe had a bounty of 438 million berries before Wano.
During the war, he fought against Who’s Who, a member of the Tobiroppo, and defeated him with rather ease. Later on, he also put out a massive fire and, all things considered, he received a high bounty of 1.1 billion berries.
15 Roronoa Zoro: 1,111,000,000 Berries
Zoro is the combatant of the Straw Hat Pirates and prior to the Wano Country arc, he had a bounty of 320 million berries. Zoro fought against Kaido in the arc and managed to scar him permanently, which is an extremely impressive feat.
Later on, he fought King the Wildfire in one-on-one combat and managed to defeat him as well. For his actions, Zoro received a bounty of 1.111 billion berries.
14 Queen The Plague: 1,320,000,000 Berries
Despite the World Government placing Queen The Plague high on their list of wanted pirates, the show hasn’t displayed much of his fighting ability. Much of the interaction on the show so far was from Luffy resisting the Conqueror’s Haki from Queen. This is a powerful feat, considering the amount of will necessary to manifest Haki.
Queen The Plague also faced off against Big Mom in Udon Prison. He did manage to land a hit on her but didn’t inflict much more damage than that.
13 Marco: 1,374,000,000 Berries
Once upon a time, Marco stood by Whitebeard’s side, serving as the legendary Emperor’s greatest commander. Since the Marineford Arc, Marco’s role has evolved, and the character eventually opted to move away from the pirate life to become a doctor. While things might change, Marco’s bounty is still among the highest in the series.
As the owner of the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix Devil Fruit, Marco can turn into blue flames and become a phoenix. It is a sight to behold, permitting someone does not have to actually face off against this terrifying opponent.
12 King The Conflagration: 1,390,000,000 Berries
The Beasts Pirates are absolute powerhouses, and they need to be to co-exist with the crew’s captain, Kaido. In a group with no time for weaklings, King the Conflagration stands as one of its strongest members, alongside Jack and Queen. The Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Pteranodon Devil Fruit grants King the ability to turn into a pteranodon, although the pirate is also a force of nature without this transformation. King is fast, strong, calm, and vicious. He can face off against Big Mom and survive, something very few people can claim.
11 Boa Hancock: 1,659,000,000 Berries
Boa Hancock is one of the former Shichibukai in the One Piece world and the current Empress of the Women Island, Amazon Lily. She serves as the captain of the Kuja Pirates and is the leader of the Kuja tribe as well. Being a leader of the Kuja, Hancock has incredibly amazing Haki control. She is a user of all forms of Haki and, at the same time, is also an exceptional Devil Fruit user. Her fruit abilities are such that Blackbeard himself sought them out recently.
After the dissolution of the Warlords system, Hancock was given a new bounty and this figure amounts to 1.659 billion berries. Hancock has not been tested in battle in quite a long time and if anything, this figure might just be an underestimation of how truly dangerous she is. Nonetheless, her bounty is extremely impressive.
