While the crew is now officially a Yonko crew, they are still not done growing stronger. In fact, the Straw Hat Pirates have a much higher ceiling and fans will most definitely get to see them reach higher levels. This crew might have not just one but multiple Yonko level characters, which is what will enable them to surpass all other crews to have ever existed.

The Straw Hat Pirates are very powerful and this goes without saying. Although they were rather weak when compared to the monsters of the New World before the timeskip, following this 2-year training period, they have reinvigorated themselves and reached an unprecedented level of power. The Straw Hat Pirates possess enough strength to match the likes of the Yonko crews, and this was proven to the fans in the Wano Country Arc. Luffy, the captain of the crew, went head-to-head against Kaido and he did incredibly well in this battle, surpassing the Yonko completely and defeating him on his own. Similarly, Zoro proved to be strong enough to beat King, Kaido’s right-hand man, and Sanji defeated Queen, another one of Kaido’s right-hand men. Meanwhile, fans saw Franky beat Sasaki, and Robin beat Black Maria. The Straw Hat Pirates, despite not being at their full power, were able to deal with the Beast Pirates effectively, and this just meant to show that they still can reach higher levels.

As far as Luffy is concerned, fans know that he has to surpass the average level of a Yonko. Luffy, despite being an Emperor, was not able to do any significant damage against the Five Elders, which means that in a battle against Imu, which is bound to happen at some point later down the line, he won’t be as effective as he needs to be. Luffy has to level up his Haki tremendously and do what Joyboy displayed on Egghead. Just that alone is enough reason to see Luffy surpass the Yonko in the One Piece World.
Consequently, this also means that Luffy’s underlings will have to grow stronger, and together, when all the members of the Straw Hat Pirates, hit their maximum level. By the end, crew will have surpassed all others, and will most definitely have more than just one Yonko level individual.

When speaking of the Yonko level individuals of the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy is the first one who comes to mind. This is simply down to the fact that he is an Emperor of the Sea already, and he attained this title after defeating Kaido in the Wano Country Arc. Luffy is incredibly powerful as an Emperor, and his actions have earned him a bounty of 3 billion berries. In fact, Luffy could actually have received a higher bounty, but, because of the fact that the World Government doesn’t want people to know about the true status of Nika, his bounty is rather grounded.
Regardless of the bounty, Luffy’s strength is impeccable. In the Egghead Island arc, he even dealt with the likes of the Elders, even though they kept regenerating. At the same time, fans saw him put up an incredible fight against Kizaru, knocking him down and paralyzing him in battle for a significant period of time. All this was achieved by Luffy without even hitting his peak as a pirate, which means that although he’s already a Yonko, he can grow stronger.
Meanwhile, Zoro has already defeated King, one of the three right-hand men of Kaido, and fans know that he can grow stronger too. In fact, Zoro absolutely has to grow stronger if he is to beat Mihawk, the world’s greatest swordsman. This means that once Zoro does beat him and becomes the greatest swordsman, he will be on the same level as the Emperors of the Sea. This, in a way, confirms the Straw Hat Pirates to have two Yonko level individuals onboard, which, although rare, isn’t out of the ordinary.

Then, there is the case of Sanji, who fans know is right alongside Luffy and Zoro. Sanji is one of the Wings of the Pirate King, and, for Luffy to become the King, the Wings need to be balanced. Of course, Zoro will always have an edge over Sanji, but these two have always been relative and that will always stay the case. In fact, Sanji has already shown the capabilities of beating the likes of the Yonko First Mates. His true power still remains unknown because his scientific progression is going in an unknown direction.
Sanji can grow tremendously strong in the final Saga, and it shouldn’t be a surprise to the fans to see him reach a similar level to the likes of the Emperors, especially because his dynamic with Zoro, where these two are neck and neck, also needs to be maintained, and at the same time, his entire character arc surrounding science is far from complete right now. Come the end of the series, the Straw Hat Pirates will most definitely have three Yonko-level individuals with Luffy having far surpassed this level, and Zoro being just as strong as any other Emperor.

Undoubtedly, the Straw Hat Pirates will be the strongest pirate crew in One Piece at the very end. This is not a surprise, given that they have to do the impossible and surpass all other pirate crews that have come before them. Right now, the Roger Pirates are widely considered to be the best pirate crew of all time, and the Straw Hats will have to do what they did, which is, claim the One Piece, and then, do what they couldn’t do, and that has changed the world for good.
In fact, even Joy Boy, the man known as the first pirate, couldn’t do what Luffy will accomplish, and this just goes to show that this pirate crew is undisputedly the greatest in One Piece. For such a crew, having the mightiest members on board is necessary.
This doesn’t just apply to the Monster Trio, but also to the other underlings. Nico Robin should be strong enough to fight any top-tier Yonko Commander, and Jinbe exists as one of the most reliable members of the crew, capable of battling Yonko first mates. Then, even the weakling Trio, who, at this point in time, would struggle in battle against the elite pirates of the world, would also have to grow significantly and show that they are worthy of being members of Luffy’s crew.
