Jujutsu Kaisen’s Epilogues
- Gege Focuses On Multiple Characters
- A Glimpse Of The Future Is Provided
During Jujutsu Kaisen’s Jump Festa 2025 stage, it was revealed that the story is going to get a 16-page epilogue from the author soon, with the release of its final volume. Given that the final volume is just around the corner, fans now have information on what JJK’s last chapter, that is, chapter 272, or, in other words, simply the epilogue chapter, is going to be all about. It was revealed during Jump Festa that the epilogue chapter is going to focus on certain characters from the story. These characters were revealed to be Ozawa, Nobara, Panda, much to the surprise of the fans, Uraume. Here’s how the JJK epilogues went. For the sake of clarity, these epilogues have been arranged in an order in which they best fit the JJK timeline.
Sukuna and Uraume’s Epilogue
Timeline: Heian Era
Close
Sukuna and Uraume’s epilogue might be considered to be the most exciting and touching one. It was by far the best part of the chapter, and came at the very end. This epilogue is set in the Heian era, and this essentially means that this was fans’ first look at this era properly. Fans always wanted a flashback on Sukuna and Uraume, and wanted more information on how these two met and what exactly their relationship is. Now, with the release of JJK chapter 272, things are much clearer.
Why is it that Sukuna-sama never gets cold around me? – Uraume
Essentially, Uraume was found by Sukuna in what appears to be a forest. Uraume’s powers were seemingly out of control, and the cryogenic abilities essentially went on to destroy everything in their surroundings, including their parents. Sukuna, for one reason or another, felt sympathy for Uraume and asked them to follow him. Eventually, they got to know each other better and Sukuna had them cook. At the location of a deer, Sukuna asked them to utilize his powers once again. Uraume was confused upon looking at the scenario at first. Once Sukuna found out that Uraume was hungry, he asked them to eat.
Uraume then went on to utilize their powers to cool down the meat and offered Sukuna some as well. Shocked by the amount of control that Uraume had over their ability, Sukuna asked them how they’d trained this power. Uraume simply learned all this by themselves, and they certainly impressed Sukuna.
The King of Curses Immediately saw their talent, which is why he decided to stick by their side. At the same time, he also felt sympathy for them, especially because they had no one in the world to turn to. This is where Sukuna asked them if they could butcher humans next. According to Sukuna, humans are a different kind of delicacy altogether. While Uraume didn’t exactly answer, and all that was on their mind was that Sukuna didn’t get cold around them, despite their entire family perishing due to their powers.
Sukuna was amused by this comment from Uraume, who did not know that he was the King of Curses. That said, Sukuna felt a similar feeling, because nobody in his life ever felt the same warmth around him that Uraume felt. Together, the two walked away and that marked the end of the epilogue.
Yuji and Ozawa’s Epilogue
Timeline: After The Shinjuku Showdown
Yuji and Ozawa’s epilogue was rather short as well. It is unclear as to what the author set up with this epilogue, but fans got to see Yuji and Ozawa’s flashback at first, where they were both enamored by snow. In the current timeline, Ozawa was still struggling with the fact that nobody from her school days recognized her, when immediately, Yuji stumbled upon her and called her by her name, just like fans saw earlier in the series. They both continued to talk about life, and all this circled back to them still liking snow.

It appears that liking snow is a metaphor for spending time together with one another, just as they did back in their school days. Both Yuji and Ozawa admit to still liking snow, and it appears that a budding relationship might be hinted at here by the author.
Nobara’s Epilogue
Timeline: After Gojo’s Death
Nobara’s epilogue takes place sometime after the ending of JJK. Fans got to see Nobara go and meet her mother, just as Gojo wanted her to. This epilogue was rather shocking, because Nobara’s mother did not turn out to be anything like fans had imagined. She appears to be quite a jealous mother, who has absolutely no worries about her child. She also seems to have been a mother without any empathy, and at the same time, horrible parenting skills.
The thing you were lacking was sorcery skills, but parental skills. – Nobara
Even now, she still goes out partying, hanging out with younger guys, and spending money, all the while having had little to nothing to do with Nobara’s upbringing. While Nobara could easily have been sad about this, instead, she made it clear that the only reason she visited her mom was because Gojo wished so, and she did not want to disrespect the dead. Nobara made it clear that she disliked her mother quite a lot, and actually invited her grandmother to the scene as well. It appears that Nobara’s mother is scared of her own mother, even her age, and that is exactly why Nobara found it incredibly funny to invite her to the meeting as well.
Panda’s Epilogue
Timeline: 62 Years After JJK’s Ending
Close
One of the most shocking epilogues in Jujutsu Kaisen takes place over 60 years into the future. Long after the conclusion of the Shinjuku Showdown arc, it was revealed that Panda was essentially put in the storage facility in the year 2035, which belonged to the Gojo family. By this time, the acting head of the Gojo family was none other than Yuta Okkotsu. Much later into the year 2080, it was revealed that Yuta had grandchildren and these grandchildren found Panda’s cursed corpse.
This doll still moves sometimes, although rarely. Yuta was revealed to have two grandchildren, one boy, and one girl. Both of them are rather loudmouthed, being the complete opposite of Yuta himself. Unfortunately, fans did not get to see Yuta in the epilogue at all. But his grandkids were certainly entertaining to watch. Hopefully, this ending of JJK is built upon further in the future.
Jujutsu Kaisen’s Epilogue was released with its Final Volume. JJK’s Final volume is out in Japan on December 25, 2024. The English version of the Volume will be published at some point in 2025.
