My Hero Academia chapter 396 dropped a while ago and it was certainly incredibly intriguing for the fans to see the advancements that it made in regards to the fight between All For One and All Might. This fight is one that fans have been waiting to see for months now and with the conclusion of the clash between Toga and Ochako finally being delivered over the previous chapters, it was only a matter of time before Horikoshi got to this clash.
The fight between Deku and Shigaraki is going to be saved for the end and this means that All Might clashing against All For One is the penultimate battle of the Final War Saga of My Hero Academia. With this battle being tackled in this week’s chapter, fans got their first look at the incredible Armored All Might.
All Might Vs All For One
All Might and All For One share a deep history with each other. These two have fought on several occasions and carry wounds from each other to this day. All Might was the only one of the vestiges who could truly stand up to All For One and even defeat him. However, in the past, All Might has also lost to All For One, which caused him to retreat to the USA, as mentioned in the previous chapter. After truly getting used to the power of the One For All, All Might got several times stronger to a point where he could end the tyranny of All For One. The two clashed and All Might severely incapacitated All For One for good. In doing so, he also received a grievous injury which forced him to pass on his Quirk to someone else. Eventually, the two ended up clashing in Kamino for one last time and there, All Might ended up using the wisps of his power to overcome All For One forever, or so he thought.
Little did he know that All For One had other plans in his mind and that he would eventually end up returning stronger than ever before. When the Final War kicked off and All For One looked like he couldn’t be stopped, All Might took it upon himself to end this age-old rivalry for good. He is the one responsible for dealing with All Might and he is certainly going to put an effective end to this clash. That is precisely where fans are currently in the story as All Might stands in his way as a Quirkless fighter and still wants to fight him. My Hero Academia chapter 396 finally kickstarted this fight and needless to say, it lived up to the expectations.
The Creation Of Armored All Might
Fans had been waiting to see what weapon All Might will use against All For One for quite a while. It was quite evident that All Might would stand no chance against All For One if he went empty-handed. After all, he does not have his Quirk anymore and that certainly weakens him by quite a margin. The easiest guess for most fans was that he was going to be carrying Hero Equipment with him which would aid him in battle. All Might was certainly seen carrying a briefcase with him when he headed out of his car and stood in the path of All For One. In the previous chapter, it was all but confirmed that All Might was truly using Hero Equipment to take on All For One. He unleashed this power as he broke apart his briefcase and his entire body was then clad with an iron suit. All Might calls this transformation as Armored All Might.
The creation of this battle suit likely started long ago when All Might was in the United States, where he formed a great bond with Dave Shield and, eventually, even his daughter, Melissa Shield. Together, they ended up creating this incredible armor for All Might that he is now using in battle against All For One. Undoubtedly, this armor greatly enhances his physical capabilities and allows him to compete with even the strongest of all time with rather ease.
The Powers Of Armored All Might
Armored All Might is certainly incredibly powerful. For one, he looks menacing to take on in battle. With him is also Hercules, his car which he can also use as a weapon. When All For One attacked him with a powerful technique capable of cleaving apart buildings, All Might relied on his car which turned into a shield and took the brunt of the damage for him. In the process, the integrity of the shield was compromised by 66%. Nonetheless, the shield proved to be incredibly powerful. From there onwards, Armored All Might showcased what he was truly capable of and, needless to say, the abilities were certainly incredible.
All Might seems to have taken inspiration from his students and their Quirks when creating Armored All Might. This is quite evident from all the powers that he displays while fighting. For instance, he uses Blackwhip, which belongs to Deku. He uses the power of electricity, which belongs to Denki, he also uses Cellophane, which belongs to Sero, and he even uses Shoot Style Smash, which is the signature ability of Deku, once again. It is quite clear to see All Might has incorporated the abilities of his students into his battle armor and that is certainly incredible for the fans to witness. Using these powers, he was able to push back even All For One, despite the monstrous villain being stronger than he was ever before. Armored All Might could even interrupt his healing and deliver powerful blows to him.
The Potential Abilities Of Armored All Might
Fans have certainly not seen all of Armored All Might just yet. The fight is just getting started and it was pretty much confirmed by All Might himself that he is not going to go into this battle with the mindset of a loser. He is only fighting this fight because he wants to win and to that end, he’s going to throw everything he has All For One’s way. There are certainly many more abilities that he has up his sleeve and fans will likely get to see them in the next chapter. Given that it has already been established that Armored All Might uses the abilities of his students, it can be assumed that there are powers that he can, perhaps, manifest in the next few chapters. For one, he can certainly use Bakugo’s explosions, given that they are quite easy to create mechanically.
It is also possible for him to use Acid in combat, which is utilized by Mina Ashido. Furthermore, Shoto Todoroki’s pyrokinetic and cryokinetic powers are also ones that he can likely make use of. Kirishima’s hardness might be another ability that fans will see Armored All Might use in the next few chapters. At the end of it all, Armored All Might is powered by his students and if he does manage to win this clash, much of it will be down to them. Fans utterly love this power-up for All Might and only hope that it lasts long enough to defeat All For One and, this time, for good.
