This chapter of the series continued from where things left off in Elbaf, and brought about an end to what can be considered the initial phase of the Elbaf Arc. Usually, the beginning parts have a slower pace, as is expected of them, but at the same time, they do a great job at setting up greater events to follow. One Piece chapter 1135 might just have marked the beginning of the end of the first section of the Elbaf arc, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what happens next. The Owl’s Library was introduced to the fans rather recently, and this is where Saul has been working for quite a few years now. This is the biggest library in Elbaf, and quite possibly one of the biggest in the entire world. This library was established under the orders of King Harald, about 20 years or so ago. It was revealed to the fans that this owl is overseen by Biblo, a giant owl with the power of the Iku Iku no Mi, which is a devil fruit that allows him to turn any inorganic matter into enormous sizes. Using the power of the devil fruit, any book can be enlarged, and that is truly the beauty of it.

At the same time, fans also got to see other exciting aspects surrounding the Owl’s House. Luffy finally came across Collun, who was revealed to the fans to be the son of Ripley and a mysterious pirate who seems to have retired now. This mysterious pirate was revealed to the fans to be incredibly powerful in One Piece chapter 1135, and that certainly is a hint as to who this person is going to be, with most hints pointing at a former Roger pirate.
Regardless, the important takeaway here is that through the character of Collun, Oda reveals to the fans that the spirit of Elbaf is well and truly alive and that this country is going to continue producing prodigies forever. Fans also got to see the Straw Hat Pirates split up in this chapter. Robin chose to stay behind because she wanted to catch up with Saul further. At the same time, Luffy, and a few members went down to have the banquet that Oda has been hyping up for quite a while now. Meanwhile, fans also got to see some, such as Franky and the others, want to go out and explore the Adam Tree, which certainly seems like an exciting development.

While the Straw Hat Pirates were certainly exciting to watch in One Piece chapter 1135, the most exciting part of the chapter was the one surrounding the two mysterious hooded individuals. These individuals popped up in Elbaf in One Piece chapter 1134 right at the very end. Fans were waiting to see more of them in this chapter, and Oda certainly delivered, at least to a certain extent. As expected, these characters were targeting someone and it was revealed in One Piece chapter 1135 that their goal was to get to none other than Loki. Curiously enough, they came across guards inside the castle right away, and they asked them about the location of Loki. When the Giants refused to answer, the bandaged woman ended up attacking the Giants using a mysterious power that allows her to control bandages.
These bandages brought one of the Giants to his knees, and it seems that these two individuals are adamant about knowing the current location of Loki.
Where can we find the one named Loki? – The Bandaged Woman
As to why they are seeking Loki, fans do not know. What is clear at this point is that Loki has a special Devil Fruit, and because of the special Devil Fruit, he has a special bounty. Perhaps, the reason why the World Government agents are after Loki is because of his Devil Fruit powers and incredible potential. If the Giants sell out Loki, it will be up to the Straw Hat Pirates to stop these mysterious hooded individuals.

Oda has been hyping up the banquet in Elbaf for quite a long time and finally, with One Piece chapter 1135, this banquet has officially been delivered. Fans were told that this banquet is going to last for 3 days and 3 nights, which is absolutely massive. In the banquet itself, fans saw the Giants toast to Luffy for different reasons. Dorry and Brogy were grateful to them for saving their lives. Meanwhile, the likes of Oimo and Kashi were freed from captivity by Luffy, and Hajrudin’s life was saved by them as well. All these characters owe Luffy quite a bit, and that is precisely why the Straw Hat Pirates are getting a massive welcome.
Fans finally got to see the massive banquet take place and Luffy was seen at the center of it all. The vast majority of it was quite light-hearted, and it is likely to continue over the course of the next chapter or so. In the midst of this banquet, fans even saw the legendary Hero of Elbaf, Jarul the Giant. At this point, he’s 408 years old, making him the oldest man in the One Piece world. Reintroducing him in the story and doing proper character designs for him is difficult enough on its own, but Oda never fails to deliver in this regard.
Fans could see a giant sword piercing through his head, but the logic behind this has not been explained yet. It is quite clear that Oda is setting up a dive deep into the lore of certain elements in the Elbaf country, and that is something that readers absolutely cannot wait to see more of.
