Given the current situation, it appears that the ones likely to lead fans into this upcoming combat are likely going to be Luffy and Zoro, two of the most important characters in One Piece, and certainly the two strongest in the Straw Hat Pirates. All this is centered around the character of Loki, and of course, the two members of the Holy Knights who just appeared in the land of the Giants, Elbaf. Fans are eagerly waiting to see a massive clash in the Underworld and it appears to be incredibly close now.

In the previous chapter of One Piece, fans got to see Luffy and Zoro head to the Aurust castle of Elbaf. This was largely down to the fact that Luffy wants to free Loki so that he can find out about the whereabouts of Red Hair and his pirate crew. Loki promised Luffy that he will tell him the whereabouts, but on the condition that he is freed from his chains. Zoro is skeptical of Loki’s comments, especially since he’s portrayed to be a kinslayer. As a result, Zoro is now heading to the Underworld with Luffy, just to ensure that he doesn’t get tricked. Similarly, Nami has her own agenda at hand and she wants to loot the Aurust Castle, where the treasure of the royalty of Elbaf lies.
Naturally, to secure the treasure, she tagged along with them. Things are looking increasingly exciting in Elbaf, and fans will soon see Luffy and Zoro get to the Aurust Castle, where they will find the key to Loki’s chains, and at the same time, realize that something horrible happened in the castle. In one way or another, the Straw Hat Pirates are going to be led to the Underworld of the country, which is where Loki is tied up, and at the same time, the infiltrators of Elbaf are as well.

Undoubtedly, things are going to get incredibly intense here as soon as the Straw Hat trio gets there and realizes what is going down. A massive battle is about to erupt in Elbaf’s underworld, and this battle is surely going to see heavy involvement from Luffy and Zoro. Both Luffy and Zoro are incredibly powerful and there is absolutely no denying that, but what’s in front of them is a massive challenge, and quite easily the biggest after Wano. For Luffy, the fight against the Shanks Lookalike is going to be extremely special, and this is because this individual is Shanks’s brother, and at the same time, looks just like him. Luffy might even mistake him for Shanks at first, which will only leave him open to a powerful attack. Meanwhile, Zoro will most likely jump into action against Gunko, whose arrow abilities are incredibly difficult to take on in combat, especially since they’re an abstract power. While fans might want Zoro the fight the Shanks lookalike or Loki, that’s unlikely to happen here.

Zoro is strong and he would certainly relish the opportunity to fight these individuals, but the existence of a Shanks lookalike in itself connects the figure to Luffy, and more than that, he is the main antagonist, which means he’s reserved for Luffy already.

Meanwhile, Loki will be a bystander in the battle at the beginning, however, not for long. Loki will likely be freed by none other than Nami and Road, which will excite the fans even more. Perhaps, Loki being freed from his chains will give the pirates a massive advantage, forcing them to retreat, or they could simply be so strong that a collaboration is needed in battle to take them down.
What This Battle Means For The Straw Hats
For Luffy, this battle is going to be massive. It will see him rise to the challenge, going up against someone as strong as Shanks who is most certainly on the same level as the Yonko. It might be that Shanks’s brother is even stronger than the Yonko and fans absolutely cannot wait to see what he has in store for fans. For Luffy, this could also be an opportunity to level up the Haki. Fans already saw how superior Joy Boy’s Haki is to that of Luffy. If Luffy needs to beat Imu, he needs to improve his Haki greatly, and that is where the Shanks twin comes into play.
As for Zoro, fans expect him to use the opportunity to improve his control over Enma. This sword has finally started listening to Zoro, but his control over it still needs improvement. Zoro has to improve the efficiency of his Haki, and at the same time, last longer in battle. A fight against someone as strong as the Admirals would certainly be very good for him and readers absolutely cannot wait to see how he performs here.
How Will The Holy Knights Battle End?
As things stand, the numbers of the Holy Knights are not enough. They’re just two members up against not just Luffy, but the entire Straw Hat Pirates, Loki, and the country of the Giants. For them, winning already seems very difficult, but if Loki is freed, then it is practically impossible for them to pull off a victory. In that case, they’d either need to summon more powerful fighters from the ranks for the God’s Knights or have to temporarily retreat. Right now, both options seem feasible and only Oda can decide what path to take next as the final saga hurtles towards its end and that of the entire series as well.
